Tony Haynes, I love ya’, but I’m losing my faith in your website since you took over Wolfpack Sports Marketing. I do appreciate that you finally updated the basketball rosters just in time for the first exhibition game of the season, but publicizing the game would also be helpful. Part of the joy of working in marketing is, you are only as good as your last oversight. All people remember is the stuff you neglect to do, and it’s neglectful that the front page of gopack.com today only talks about THE UPCOMING FOOTBALL GAME, the fan zone at the upcoming football game, an article on John Dunlap who will play at the upcoming football game, and an item about the women’s media day.
p.s. it’s also the day of the Homecoming Parade. I suppose that’s not really athletic though. Sheesh.
Is Atsür playing, Tony? Tim? Anybody? Who the heck are the new guys on the roster? I suppose I’ll go find out on my own like all the other bloggers. Our motto: doing all the work, so you guys don’t have to. So, in Tony’s stead, let me market for a second: the game is ten bucks, sit anywhere. Come on down to the big ATM tonight and support the new coaches, the players, and the start of Engin Atsür‘s last season as the hardest working man in the ACC. The opponent came all the way from South Dakota, the least you can do is brave I-40.
p.p.s. Check out Steven’s preview of our opponent. They may come from nowhere and have no fans, but they almost beat Vandy the other day. It might not be your typical exhibition-night walk in the park.
