Atsür scores 25 in bronze-medal victory
Apparently taking “don’t give up, don’t ever give up,” to heart, Engin Atsür scored a team-high 25 points to lead Turkey to a bronze-medal victory in the finals of the Mediterranean Games in Pescara, Italy. And I thought it was ovah. More fool me.
Greece took the silver and Croatia, to the tune of loudly singing fans, took the gold. It’s certainly going to be an interesting Eurobasket.
